Fun times at NG Kerk Carnival

It was an event to remember, and all for a good cause.

The Minimarket Carnival, a charity fundraiser event organised by the Women’s Group of the NG Kerk Margate, was a roaring success – a day filled with fun and good cheer, with an abundance of unique foods and crafts on offer. Jenny Heaney thanked the community for its royal, loyal support.

The sunny weather on the day no doubt contributed to the tremendous turnout of visitors, who were not shy to open their wallets in support. The colourful bunting flags and people dressed up in carnival costumes added to the festive atmosphere.

In the open air arena visitors were entertained to a motor show, dog-and-owner lookalike competition, as well as joyful music and karaoke singing. The undisputed highlight, however, was the obedience demonstration by the Hibiscus Kennel Club. Indeed, it was an event to remember, and all for a good cause.
