Tuning in: Craig Rademan will be missed by many
The family reminds everyone of who he was and why the community is so saddened by this tragic loss of such a wonderful human.
Heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Craig Rademan who died recently. May he RIP.
His niece Jamie Rademan said that Craig’s contagious smile and beautiful ocean eyes filled so many people’s hearts with joy beyond measure.
“I don’t think you knew exactly how much your presence impacted so many peoples lives.”
“The friends in your life are like stars in the sky, too many to count. If only you knew how much we all loved you.”
The family reminds everyone of who he was and why the community is so saddened by this tragic loss of such a wonderful human.
Craig, born on October 30, 1992 at Kingsway Hospital in Toti, hiding the middle name Abraham, started fishing on his dad’s boat from about the age of seven.
Craig’s dad was one of the founding members of Pennington Skiboat Club and built the original clubhouse along with boat lockers. With his big brother Steve, Craig took over commercial fishing from their dad in 2000, got his skipper’s when he was 16 and fished with Steve and his brother Garry ever since.
At 19, Craig took over the family business when his brother Steve sadly passed away in 2012.
However, there was a lot more to Craig. Some of his proud achievements and community involvement included being part of the Scottburgh Nippers in his primary school years, then he moved to Scottburgh Surf Lifesaving Club. Craig achieved KZN colours for high jump, he was head boy of Glenwood Preparatory School as well as Umdoni Christian Academy.
“All of this still doesn’t explain the man Craig was, the father he was, nor the partner he was. Craig’s absence in this world is felt greatly. Our sincere condolences and love is sent to his partner Teri Nel, children, brother Garry Rademan and mom Carina Snyman, family and friends. Thanks to the community for their love and support in this difficult time.”
