Graduate donates to hospice
She graduated this year and also got married to Hoabin in the meantime.
Hospice supporters Ravi Naicker, Hoabin Wang and Chen Yu visited the Khanya Hospice house in Umkomaas last week to drop off a cake for the hardworking staff to enjoy, as well as handover a special donation.
About a year ago, Chen Yu was looking for a non-profit organisation to do research for her Bachelor of business administration honours degree from the Mancosa University in Durban.
Her research was based on how Covid-19 affected Khanya Hospice staff in executing their duties under these very challenging circumstances.
She graduated this year and also got married to Hoabin in the meantime.
To give thanks to the hospice staff for assisting her with her research project, she donated R1000 to the NGO which was greatly appreciated.
She also promised to convey hospice’s well wishes to her family and friends in China who hope to visit the hospice house some day soon.
