I know that the community will join me in sending heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Johnny Koekemoer who died on Saturday, June 18.
Such a sad time for everyone who knew and loved him; especially his wife Nicky (founder of 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue) and helpers .
Henry Parsons, past headmaster of Scottburgh High School writes: “Just received the sad news that Johnny Koekemoer, that wonderful guy who transformed the grounds at Scottburgh High School to be one of the most beautiful of school campuses, passed away. Not only that, but for years he and his wife Nicky, on a daily basis fed stray dogs in the Umdoni area. Heaven has been brightened by another bright star with his passing.”
A memorial service for Johnny will be held at the Fish Eagle Restaurant at Crocworld on Saturday, June 25 at 13:00. May he RIP.

I have noticed that there have been a couple of banking scams in the Umdoni area. If anyone has been affected, contact me via email. I would like to check with the banks. Email: bronwyn@scottburgh.co.za
Personally I have been contacted by FNB and Nedbank by phone to ‘update my profile’. I don’t believe that this is legit. Community, let me know. This is your page.
