Walk, run or stroll with Grannies

Bring a toiletry item for charity and money for the raffle and coffee.

After an absence of two years, the popular Grannies Walk, hosted by the Rotary Club of Hibiscus Coast, is back on the calendar.

The 36th edition will take place on Wednesday, July 6 from 07:30.

It will start and finish on the lawn in front of the lifesavers’ hut on St Michaels beach.

The route is easy, along the beautiful Saints Walk, starting from St Michaels beach to Uvongo beach and back.

There is no age limit, the more the merrier.

Sponsorship fee is R100 per person and guarantees you a walk and a Rotary breakfast.

Bring a toiletry item for charity and money for the raffle and coffee.

Rotarians invite all businesses and the general public to sponsor one or more senior participants.

“After two years of isolation, our elderly who suffered the most are in dire need of a social gathering in a safe environment,” said club president Brian Blumrick.

Submit names to Zest Holidays (Brenda Blumrick) on 082 5618461.
