One of SA's most popular singers, Steve Hoffmeyr doing what he does best - entertaining!
In the words of South African singer Steve Hofmeyr – Oppi Kus Musiekfees was the biggest concert before Covid-19 and now again, after the regulations were lifted.
Hofmeyr wrote on his Facebook page, thanking the South Coast for a great time! This year’s two-day event hosted by Margate Round Table took place at Douglas Mitchell Grounds last Friday and Saturday.
Hofmeyr was among the headline acts which included Demi Lee Moore, Dagbreek, Adam Tas, Jakkie Louw, Nicholis Louw, and Wynand and Cheree, to name a few, that wooed the large crowds. And, wow what a party!
Round Tabler Shane Woolley said the weekend’s turnout was impressive with a total of 3697 festival goers attending over the two days.
“There were 1181 people through the door on Friday, and 2516 on Saturday,” he said. “These figures don’t take into account the Tablers, media or food stallholders working at the event.”
“It was a brilliant event overall, and a fantastic music festival! The event ran very smoothly,” said Woolley.
Margate Round Table would like to thank the South Coast Community and visitors for their support.
Woolley confirmed that the profit made from the event would go into Margate Round Table’s welfare fund to be utilised in future welfare projects.
