Pro-Vision Golf Club’s fourth game for the year took place at Southbroom Golf Club last Sunday, sponsored by Naresh Deendayal and family.
Justin Chetty won the A division on 37 points, with Bulelani Ngilande second on 32 points, counting out Pravesh Govender.
In the B division, honours went to Dr Kaya Manona on 31 points, helped by the countout with Morris Moodley having to settle for second place. Third spot went to Nhlanhla Ndzimbovu on 29 points.
The C division top spot was claimed by Leon Govender on 33 points, followed by Dr Kanaya Maharaj on 31 points and the sponsor Naresh Deendayal in third place on 27 points.
Nearest the pins: Leon Govender (4th), Bulelani Ngilande (8th), Sbu Ntozakhe (11th), Nkazimulo Nqoko (14th). Nearest for two: Bulelani Ngilandi (5th). Nearest for three: Thulani Xolo (18th).
In terms of the team’s results, first place went to Bunker Buddies on 93 points, followed by Pro Vision Super Kings (91 points), Putt Pirates B (86 points), Fairway Avengers (79 points), 18 Hole Warriors (56 points), Challengers of 18 (38 points).
Sue Rupnarian was welcomed on her first game as a member.
The June fixture, sponsored by Kishal Reddy (Super Auto Midas Group) was held at Selborne Park Golf Club. Division winners were Sbu Ntozakhe (A) on 36 points, Morris Moodley (B) on 38 points and Naresh Deendayal (C) on 33 points. Morris was also the Captain’s Cup winner.
Next game is at Port Shepstone Country Club on July 27.
