Driving the Mahindra XUV 3XO was a lovely surprise last week.
As it was school holidays, my two sons Aaran and Aarav were visiting from Johannesburg, which made it the perfect vehicle to get around.
It’s packed with features and was loved by my boys. The drive is effortless, safe and enjoyable without any compromise. I received the vehicle on a special occasion as it was Aaran’s birthday. When I got home both Aaran and Aarav (the younger one) were surprised and thought I had purchased a new ride.
Also, I forgot to buy birthday candles, so off we went in the Mahindra XUV 3XO to Shelly Beach. The drive on the first day was amazing and excitement filled the air.
The 3XO is bold, and trust me, it commands attention and doesn’t disappoint.
From the exterior to the interior, it is a perfectly balanced subcompact SUV. It features a distinctive front grille and headlamp design with a piano black finish on the grille and LED headlamps, and LED fog lamps. At the forefront of automotive technology, this vehicle is on par with any other in the same category.
It has it all – from the HD screens to wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay. It’s also pretty light on the pocket, considering it has all the bells and whistles and a sunroof as well.
The XUV 3XO is powered by a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine that is designed for good performance and superior efficiency. It delivers 82kW and 200Nm of torque and offers exceptionally low fuel consumption. Overall, it’s an excellent SUV to manoeuvre in traffic.
Thanks to Fleet@iMoto Online, a Durban-based fleet management company for the opportunity to test drive the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
