Suzuki Dzire delivers more than just comfort
With a bold look and even more thoughtful features it's time to give into the new Suzuki Dzire.
I drove the Suzuki Dzire around the block in Port Shepstone in May, thanks to Suzuki South Coast. However, a week of driving the same vehicle recently was a pleasant one, from attending appointments, visits to local shopping centres and Umhlanga.
The drive to Umhlanga in this redesigned compact sedan was a pleasure, considering I had three adult passengers who remarked at the end of our journey that they found it spacious, with ample legroom and comfortable.
The Dzire is powered by a fuel efficient 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 60kW and 112Nm of torque and paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It features a 378-litre boot, standard safety features like ABS, and infotainment options including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on higher trims.
On the infotainment side, there’s a standard 7-inch display audio system, with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto on GL+ models. On the safety side, it’s equipped with anti-lock braking system which is standard, with additional airbags on higher trims. When it comes to comfort convenience, the Dzire features a multi-function steering wheel, cruise control, automatic climate control and a USB port on the GL+ trim.
The Dzire is worth the daily drive, be it local or out of town. Visit Suzuki dealerships to find out more.
