Relatives of patient sought

According to Port Shepstone Regional Hospital's PRO Phumza Morai, there is no medical need for her to remain in hospital.

Port Shepstone Regional Hospital is looking for the relatives of Jamo Nonhlanhla Abigail Dlamini, who is suspected to be a mental health patient.

Dlamini who lives on the streets of Port Shepstone took herself to Port Shepstone Regional Hospital Emergency Department on February 20 for a medical condition, for which she was stabilised.

Hospital PRO Phumza Morai said currently there is no medical need for her to remain in hospital, except to take her chronic medication.

“Dlamini said her family is in the Kwa-Jama area in Matatiele and other relatives are at Isipingo in Durban. Anyone with information about her relatives is urgently requested to contact the hospital’s social worker Veliswa Dlamini during working hours on 039 688 6245,” said Morai
