Port Shepstone Secondary wins recycle competition

The artists brought great honour to the school.

Port Shepstone Secondary School took part in the Reimagine, Recycle, Redefine competition at the Southcoast Mall recently.

This competition allowed five learners and one educator to showcase their artistic skills and talent by creating an artwork which raised awareness about the impact of pollution on oceans and marine life.

Their masterpiece comprised a variety of recyclable material, like plastic bags, plastic bottle caps and cardboard.

The school team, named ‘Ocean’s Paradise’ competed against three other schools and won first position, with a magnificent cash prize of R10 000.
