Non-profit distributes vegetables to needy
The recipients are grateful for the kind gesture from Ignite Revolution.
Queues of families received 25kg vegetable combos from non-profit organisation, Ignite Revolution in Port Shepstone last month, to enjoy over the festive season.
The beneficiaries hailed from Gamalakhe, Mvutshini, Merlewood, Mkhombe and other areas.
The vegetable combo comprised of 10kg butternut, 7kg beetroot, cabbages, 10kg potatoes and two cans of fish or beans.
Parents who came with their children also received Christmas gifts for their little ones, making it extra special.
The organisation also hosted a Christmas party for 350 children at Merlewood. Jessica Naicker, the director of Ignite Revolution said it was a phenomenal event.
