N2 at Bhobhoyi is closed – best to avoid the area

Motorists urged to keep clear of the road.

The N2 at Bhobhoyi is currently closed. It is believed that taxis drivers have blocked the road and no traffic can pass through. Police are on scene. The Herald is awaiting official comment from Saps.

There have been several issues linked to taxis, with some blocking parts of Port Shepstone yesterday.

This came about after a taxi feud over routes between Bambanani and Gamalakhe taxi associations, which flared up last week.
