SA Surfing Champs: Jet-skis and massive surf on Day 4 at St Mike’s Beach

The cold weather hasn't stopped the surfers, in fact the waves at St Mike's have been next level this week.

Despite the heavy rain and miserable weather on the KZN South Coast, the Tidy Towns Shelly Beach to Margate SA Surfing Championships 2023 show must go on!

The jet-skis have been brought in to assist with the paddle out.

This morning’s surf was a solid 6ft to 10ft, and it looks like the event is in for an action-packed day of surfing.

Tanner Wareham will be performing at the Tidy Towns tent at St Mikes tonight and tomorrow evening at 18:00. Entrance free.

The event runs until Sunday, heats starting at 07:00.

If you can’t make it down to the beach, follow  on LiveHeats or on YouTube.
