Wanted man found with firearms and ammunition in Oribi area

Members from Saps Ezinqoleni, Public Order Policing and Saps K9 made the arrest after they conducted a thorough search of the the man's residence.

A 32-year-old man appeared in the Ezinqoleni Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday this week after police members conducted an operation at KwaNyuswa in search of a wanted suspect in an attempted murder case last Friday.

Members from Saps Ezinqoleni, Public Order Policing and Saps K9 conducted a thorough search of his residence  and members recovered an R5 rifle, one magazine and 19 rounds of ammunition as well as a .38 revolver with five rounds of ammunition.

He was charged accordingly, and is expected to appear in court again, soon.
