Clean out those kitchen drawers too. This includes throwing out old spices, expired foods and unused cookbooks.
Often, kitchen drawers become clogged up with old receipts, worn out dish rags and unused utensils. To cut down on clutter and improve your home, throw anything out that no longer serves a purpose.
To keep kitchen drawers organised, try limiting each drawer to one or two item categories. For example, one drawer could be designated for dish towels only, while another could be used for utensils.
Do a quick clean out of your pantry every month, it should take you less than 20 minutes. It’s a great way to take stock of what you have on hand and make a shopping list for things you may need.
Also, a benefit of a pantry clean out challenge means using what you have. In many cases, a re-look at the supplies in your pantry allows you to rediscover old recipes with ingredients that you might have forgotten.
