HOME IMPROVER: Organise your closet
Donate gently-used clothing and accessories to a charity store.
The best way to organise a closet is to pull everything out, and sort items into categories. Decluttering involves decision making – decisions on every item as to whether you keep it or let it go.

Sift through your belongings and ask yourself:
* Have I worn this lately?
* Is it in style?
* Does it have sentimental value?
* Does it fit?
* Is it in good condition?
If the answer is no to any or all of these questions, place the item in either a donation pile, sell pile or trash pile. To donate gently-used clothing and accessories, head to a charity store near you, such as hospice or SPCA.
By getting rid of excess clothing, shoes and accessories from your closets and drawers, you’ll be helping charity organisations raise much-needed funds, and at the same time freeing up space for new trends and attire in the future.
