Taxi vs bakkie: Seven people injured in crash on R61 near Margate

The patients were treated at the scene before being transported to the hospital.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R61 near Margate for reports of a collision on Monday evening this week.

Chantelle Botha of KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service said that when emergency services arrived they found that a taxi and bakkie had been involved in a collision.

Paramedics found that seven patients had sustained injuries ranging from serious to minor.
