Youth issues tackled at awareness programme
The event was held in commemoration of Youth Month.
In line with the Youth Month commemorations, Umdoni Municipality recently hosted a Youth Skills Development Awareness Programme at Amahlongwa Community Hall.
Through this programme, young people were educated about skills development initiatives, training and capacity development, employment opportunities, tertiary education and bursary opportunities, information technology, job opportunities, experiential and internship programmes, male circumcision, HIV and Aids, electoral matters, alcohol and liquor, crime matters, local economic development and other youth related issues.
It was an educational and very informative day for all.
