Artists showcase talents at theatre festival

The festival is an annual event and is open to anyone and entry is free.

Local artists showcased their talents at the Inkundla Theatre Festival at the Uvongo hall last Thursday.
Singers, actors and poets took to stage to entertain.

Comedians and also emcees for the day, ‘Gap’ and ‘Salad’.

The festival, an annual event hosted by Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, gives the youth an opportunity to show off their artistic skills.

Isibani musical group’s Balungile Jula and Wandile Nxumalo performing at the Inkundla Theatre Festival at Uvongo hall last Thursday.

Most of the stories told were about social ills and portraying the life lived in townships and rural areas.

Acting as prisoners at the festival are (from left) Zamokuhle Ndlovu, Khethokuhle Dlamini, Thabiso Danca and Sbonelo Khusi.
Thobile and Vusi Khumalo were the judges at the Inkundla Theatre Festival.
