Artists of the local art club Art by the Sea are eagerly finishing off paintings for their prestigious annual art exhibition in August.
The theme this year is Floral Reflections and the exhibition, in the Margate Art Museum, will run from August 4 till mid-October .
The opening night is scheduled for Thursday, August 3 at 17:30 and art lovers who wish to attend should obtain an official invitation by providing their name(s) per WhatsApp to Johann du Toit on 072 6037517.
The art club boasts 52 years of spoiling the local community with artworks.
Its outstanding paintings can be found in homes all over the country and abroad.
The annual exhibition is the culmination of the skills obtained by the 40-plus artists at the weekly Tuesday sessions.
