A mind, body and soul celebration
The conscious lifestyle event attracted many visitors from outside the coast.
The inaugural KwazuluSpirit Festival held at the Estuary Hotel in Port Edward last weekend, was a roaring success.

From the opening vegan talk to the other speakers, healers, stalls, dancing, delicious food, tai chi, singing, drumming, yoga (and so much more) to the amazing closing sound healing ceremony – it was a two-day festival people are still talking about.

One of the organisers, Vicky Wentzel said the event was well-received and enjoyed the support of both the locals and visitors alike.

“Almost 60 % of festival goers were from Gauteng and Durban with many of them overnighting,” she said.

Wentzel added that the discerning visitors are looking for eco-conscious experiences and the KZN South Coast is the perfect destination.

She said they are already in planning for next year’s all inclusive conscious lifestyle event.
