Sheppie High Class of ’83 ‘United’ in nostalgia

The echoes of laughter and the sweet memories of the ’80s filled the air as the Port Shepstone High School Class of ’83 gathered once again, this time at Gogos Restaurant in Windsor in the UK, for a truly epic reunion dinner.
This lovely ‘carry on’ edition was the third in a series of jubilant gatherings, with previous celebrations taking place on the Gold Coast, Queensland in Australia on June 10 and Marina Beach, South Africa on the South Coast on July 22.
Embracing the spirit of the Australia and South African reunions, the UK reunion brought together classmates from across the globe, each carrying with them memories that spanned decades.
Gogos Restaurant, renowned for its warm South African hospitality and authentic South African flavours, provided the perfect setting for a night of connection, reminiscence, and the forging of new friendships.
“We’ve shared moments that have shaped us, laughed at our youthful escapades, and rekindled the camaraderie that was always a hallmark of our class,” said Dave May, one of the event’s organisers.
“Each reunion has been a chapter in an ongoing story, and this UK edition was a wonderful continuation of the bond that began years ago.”
The Port Shepstone High School Class of ’83 continues to demonstrate the power of enduring connections.
