Voters urged to register this weekend
Voters have to be aged 16 and above, have a green barcoded ID book, a Smart ID card or a temporary ID.
With the 2024 national elections looming, the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) encourages eligible voters to register to vote in their respective wards this coming weekend, Saturday and Sunday, November 17 and 18
Those who are not registered in their wards will not be allowed to vote in other wards across the country, come election-time.
As preparation for the elections, party agents have been deployed to various wards across the country to assist voters to register between 08:00 and 17:00.
Voters can check their registration status online by visiting the IEC website, SMSing their ID Number to 32810 or visiting a voting station.
