Contribute to Christmas hampers for needy

Residents from Amahlongwa and Amandawe will receive the hampers from the NPO.

The XMbutho Foundation is in need of public assistance for its Christmas hamper project.

The non-profit organisation is determined to put together at least 10 hampers for underprivileged families from the Amahlongwa and Amandawe areas.

Hampers will be made up of items such as fruits, biscuits, sweets and juices. People are also encouraged to donate blankets and toys.

Founder of the NPO, Xolani Mbutho, said that they will gladly accept cash donations as well.

“Ever since lockdown, many people lost their jobs and are still struggling to earn an income, and support themselves and their families,” explained Xolani.
“We hope that we are able to assist them with hampers to help alleviate poverty.”
