Thousands raised for hospice
A number of local schools have helped with hospice fundraising lately.
Naidoo Memorial Primary School in Umkomaas donated R10 030 to Khanya Hospice after a recent fundraising initiative.
Teacher Sulochana Naidoo was the driving force behind this initiative and was able to get her family and school staff on board.
Thanks is also extended to educators Stella Pillay and Merushka Singh for playing their parts in the fundraiser.
The money will be used for hospice’s patient care programme.
