Jesus can bring you peace

"Consider that He is with you right now through your trouble, to bring you peace."

Hebrews 4:15
‘I know how you feel!..’ It’s a cliché phrase that doesn’t help us when we’ve suffered a terrible loss or have to endure difficult times. When everything seems like life is falling apart, there are few things that people can say to truly make a difference. For some of you, this season can make you feel even more isolated even when you’re surrounded by friends and family. When the writer of Hebrews says Jesus is able to sympathise with us, it’s more than just an ‘I know how you feel.’

Consider, this Christmas, the rejection, suffering and trouble that Jesus had to endure because He chose to come down to Earth. Consider that He is with you right now through your trouble, to bring you peace.
