Mayor welcomes visitors

With all beaches on the South Coast open for bathing, the region is anticipating another bumper festive season.

The acting mayor of Ray Nkonyeni Municipality, Sibusiso Shange officially welcomed holidaymakers to the South Coast at a mayoral roadblock at Hibberdene off-ramp last Thursday.

The initiative was supported by representatives from South Coast Tourism and Investment Enterprise (SCTIE) who warmly welcomed visitors coming to enjoy Blue Flag beaches, world-class dive sites, and outdoor adventures in the Paradise of the Zulu Kingdom.

With all beaches on the KZN South Coast open for bathing, the region is anticipating another bumper festive season.

Shange was also joined by local law enforcement, and greeted excited tourists by handing out information packs.
