Business is ‘making a plan’

The year 2024 and beyond holds the promise of great things to come for the Ugu SMME sector as the Ugu Association of Business (UguAB) looks to prepare its short, medium and long-term strategic plan to help the small business sector.
As an NPO operating under the auspices of EDTEA, the objective of the association is to help the emerging business sector by implementing support programmes, provide guidance and serve a mentorship role for emerging businesses.
Over the past eight years of its existence, UguAB has worked tirelessly behind the scenes to connect small businesses to opportunities and to facilitate business development events. Now, in a post-Covid economy, there is much work to be done.
UguAB has planned a strategic planning workshop in which all of the key role players in the economy are invited to take part by sharing their perspectives and ideas which will find its way into the plans of UguAB.
