It’s unclear how the car landed in the river, it was pulled out later today.

Hayley Maisch of Pumula Surf Camp said about two weeks ago they arrived at the beach to check out the surf to find a taxi in the river.

“It’s front tyres were in the water and the back ones were safely on the river bank. It was successfully pulled out by a local tractor driver,” she said.
