JUST IN: Multiples fires reported in Scottburgh area

Firefighters were seen on Bermuda Way, Scottburgh attending to the fires a few minutes ago.

There have been reports of multiple fires in the Scottburgh area this evening (July 20).

It is unknown as to how these fires started, but several community members on social media groups believe that they may have been deliberately started by someone driving around throwing petrol bombs.

Fire departments have been alerted.

Firefighters were seen on Bermuda Way, Scottburgh attending to the fires in this vicinity a few minutes ago.

Farmers and firefighters have managed to put out most of it. They are still on site seeing to burning embers.
