Margate CPF gears up to prevent crime
The addition of a brand new vehicle has been thanks to the contributions of numerous local businesses, organisations and caring individuals.
Margate CBD community policing (CPF) forum has thanked First Group Hotel and Resorts for the provision of a brand new patrol vehicle.
In a heartwarming display of unity and generosity, the community came together to support the CPF in a significant way.
Thanks were extended to Stuart Lamont (First Group) for assisting with the tools to make Margate a safer place.
The addition of a brand new vehicle has been thanks to the contributions of numerous local businesses, organisations and caring individuals.
“This vehicle will enable us to respond more effectively to incidents, improve our presence in the community and, ultimately, contribute to a safer environment for everyone,” said Brandon Lehmann, CPF chairman.
Local businesses, including First Group Hotel and Resorts, Don Ira Spar Group and Wolf Security, all played pivotal roles in making this initiative a reality.
“Their commitment to the community’s safety exemplifies the spirit of cooperation that defines the town,” said Lehmann.
The CPF plans to formally unveil the vehicle at its annual general meeting at Margate Hotel on August 24 at 14:00.
The vehicle is, however, already on the road and being used to serve the community.
“As we celebrate this milestone, let us continue to support our local CPF and strengthen our community bonds,” said Lehmann.
“Together we can ensure that our town remains a safe and welcoming place for all.”
