PROTEST ACTION: Traffic starting to flow on N2 near Umkomaas

There was protest action from about 05:00 this morning.

Reports received at 07:30 indicate that traffic is starting to flow on the N2 Umkomaas.

This comes after protest action blocked both north and south bound lanes from about 05:00 this morning.

Tyres were burnt and used by protesters to block both lanes.

At this time, it is unknown as to what the protest was for.
