Antionette Kriel, the chairperson of the South African Quilters Guild, visited the local quilters‘ meeting last month.
Joy Clark, a master teacher and quilter, introduced Antionette to the group of women who were left in awe of what she has achieved as a quilter.
Antoinette shared with them what a judge looks at when you enter a quilt at a festival.
They used a beautiful quilt as a reference, which was made by Antionette and quilted by Joy.
The pair won third prize in a national festival last year in the collaborate division.
Antoinette did a fun activity, and they will share the outcome at the next meeting.
