Car crashes into Margate house

Two people suffered serious injuries.

Two people sustained serious injuries after the car they were traveling in crashed into a house in Margate this morning (Saturday).

It is believed the driver lost control of the vehicle but the exact cause has not been confirmed.

KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the scene where paramedics rendered immediate medical attention to two occupants who had sustained serious injuries.

“Once stabilised the patients were transported to a nearby hospital for further care. No one in the house was injured,” said Craig Botha, KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service spokesman.

Further investigations will be carried out by the police.
