Shafts’ Helena celebrates 90th birthday
The next Shafts' meeting is a 'bring and braai' at the Uvongo Tennis Club on Sunday, March 30.
Helena Fouche celebrated becoming a nonagenarian at the Self Help Association for Seniors (Shafts) recent braai held at the boma at Margate Retirement Village.
Helena from Uvongo had a lovely party with her husband Louis (91) and her friends.
The Shafts is a fantastic group of people who meet regularly to socialise and have lots of fun.
Shafts hosted a Let’s Get Quizzical at the Ronnie Baker Hall at the Margate Retirement Village yesterday (Wednesday). Winston Smile was the guest singer.
The next Shafts meeting is a ‘bring and braai’ at the Uvongo Tennis Club on Sunday, March 30. Fires will be lit at 11:30.
