Newly appointed station commanders welcomed

The men in blue are wished all the best in their new roles.

Ugu District saw the recent promotions of two of its members.

Colonel Satish Premchand and Lieutenant-Colonel Zanovuyo Qwebane will now serve as station commanders at Saps Harding and Saps Hibberdene respectively.

Premchand, with over 34 years of service in the police, has vast experience in managing a police station.

He was formerly the station commander at Saps Port Edward and had a flourishing relationship with the community he served.

Ugu District Vispol Commander Brigadier Anton Kapp (left) and Brigadier Bongani Sibiya (far, right) congratulate on Lieutenant-Colonel Zanovuyo Qwebane his new position.

Qwbane, with 25 years’ service under his belt, was the commander of his platoon and thrives in operational environments. He will undoubtedly lead Saps Hibberdene to new heights.

“We wish them well on their new appointments as they continue to advance their careers in the organisation,” said Saps Ugu District Communications office.
