New ranks for women officers

It was a special day for Captains Bongekile Mnguni and Jonelle Naicker when their new ranks were conferred in the presence of their commanders.
Ugu District Commissioner Major General Sethenya Nxamagele took some time out of her demanding schedule to congratulate the two newly promoted women officers from Public Order Policing to the rank of captain.
Nxamagele reminded the newly promoted members to always instil and uphold discipline in the Saps and to never doubt their capabilities, as their promotion is evidence of their competence and knowledge in their environment.
