Plant and garden fair awaits

It is an opportunity to spend a day talking and enjoying all things plants.

Plant lovers are eagerly anticipating the South Coast Plant and Garden Fair this Saturday (31st).

“We are looking forward to celebrating all things gardening and growing with some fabulous South Coast nurseries, growers and the Alfred County Orchid Society,” said organiser Ruth Mathias.

It will be held at St John’s Lutheran Church, Lobelia Road, Shelly Beach from 09:00 to 15:00.

There will be an array of plants, including indigenous, exotic and indoor plants, garden plants, collector plants, airplants, orchids, bonsai, bromeliads, succulents, cut flowers and foliage, herbs, honey, vegetables and more.

A tea garden will be available, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and wors rolls.

Enjoy talks and demonstrations from expert growers.
