TRAFFIC WARNING: Construction has begun on Reynolds Street in Sheppie

Motorists are warned to plan their journey accordingly to avoid the congestion and inconvenience.

The road leading out of Albersville to the Port Shepstone CBD is now a one-way road.

Roadworks for the rehabilitation of Reynolds Street in the Port Shepstone CBD started today, from the traffic circle on Albersville Road.

Sal Musa, representing the Albersville Ratepayers’ Association, cautioned motorists.

Plan ahead to avoid delays.

“For those who want to travel from the CBD to Albersville, the shortest route, but maybe not the most convenient, is from the CBD, past the new mall, along Nelson Mandela Drive, turning RIGHT into Andreasen Street, then up past Port Shepstone Primary school, past the temple and the Port Shepstone Court, turning right onto Memorial Road and left into Albersville.”

He added that motorists should take note that there is no access from Berea Road to Albersville. Motorists are warned to plan their journey accordingly to avoid congestion and inconvenience.
