Free photography lessons for unemployed youth

Anyone interested in a photography and videography workshop, preferably unemployed youth, can contact 082 8373895 or 072 6828843.

Aspiring photographers and videographers are invited to a free workshop at the Margate Baptist Church on Monday, July 7.

The workshop will focus on the basics of photography, practical training, and professional practise.

According to Aphiwe Moyo of Behindthelens, the aim is to create a community of photographers and videographers in the area.

“It’s an idea that Yamkela Zozi and I have been wanting to explore for a while. We wanted to share our knowledge, expertise, and experiences. We also wanted to expose them to the industry by providing them with information. Most importantly, we hope our offerings benefit those in need,” said Moyo.

Moyo said anyone interested in photography and videography, preferably unemployed youth, can contact them.

“This is an opportunity for them to learn how to make an income through this lucrative business,” she said.

For more information on the workshop, contact 082 8373895 or 072 6828843. Alternatively, email info@behindthelenssa.com
