Wabi Sabi Expo opens at Margate Art Museum tonight
On show will be Wabi Sabi paintings, bonsai tree art, kintsugi and nature inspired pottery.
Exhibitors of the Japanese Wabi Sabi and Minimalist Art Expo celebrate their opening night at Margate Art Museum tonight (Thursday).
Art lovers are invited to join in this auspicious event at 17:30 for 18:00. Admission is free.
The variety of Japanese and minimalist art disciplines on show will include Wabi Sabi paintings, bonsai tree art, kintsugi and nature inspired pottery, ikebana floral arrangements and minimalist sculptures.
Guests are invited to share a glass of wine with the artists and hear their stories about their discovery into these unique and stunningly beautiful art forms, which at this stage, are fairly unknown in the country.
