Raise a glass and a paw for SPCA

Join the annual Pints for Paws fundraiser at Rocky Ridge in Ramsgate on Saturday, August 2.

Animal lovers, mark your calendars and rally your friends – the annual Pints for Paws fundraiser for the Lower South Coast SPCA is back and promises a day packed with fun, live music and community spirit, all for worthy cause.

This year’s event will take place at Rocky Ridge Bar and Music Venue in Ramsgate on Saturday, August 2, from 12:00 until late.

Locals can look forward to live music throughout the day, a live auction with exciting prizes, entertainment for the children, and plenty of delicious food and drinks.

Entry is R100 at the door, with 50 percent of each entrance fee – plus every rand raised on the day – going directly to help the SPCA care for and rehome animals in need.

Music lovers are encouraged to bring along pet food, toys and blankets for donation.

Alan Hall, organiser of Pints for Paws, said the day is about bringing people together for a good cause.

“Every year, we’re blown away by the kindness and generosity of our community,” said Hall.

“Pints for Paws is all about having a good time while making a real difference for animals who rely on us. We’d love to see everyone there – it really does make a huge impact.”
