Girl Guides call for soup donations for Mandela Day

In celebration of Mandela Day, Girl Guides South Africa invites the community to join them to make soup for hospice patients in need.

The Port Shepstone Girl Guide Hall will host a special soup-making morning this Saturday (19th), from 08:00 to 12:00.

To make this project a success, the Girl Guides appeal to the public to donate soup packets, canned food, potatoes, tomatoes, carrots, butternut, onions, spices, any other fresh vegetables, and containers with lids.

“All donations will go a long way in bringing warmth and comfort to those who need it most,” says Panda Jolene Evans.
