Sardine Run still delivering silver bounty along KZN South Coast
The silver tide is still moving - keep your eyes on the waves!
The 2025 Sardine Run continues to thrill as another massive net was pulled in at Umzumbe on Tuesday morning this week– yielding more than 300 crates.

On Sunday, a successful netting took place at Pumula Beach, drawing crowds of excited onlookers hoping to witness the spectacle.

Local fishermen, beachgoers and visitors are urged to keep their eyes on the ocean, as the shoals could appear anywhere along the shoreline.

With conditions remaining favourable, the run is expected to continue – much to the delight of sardine lovers and holidaymakers.
