Crèche makeover brightens young lives

Blankets were also donated to the less fortunate.

Members of the DA united to make a difference in the lives of children that attend a crèche in Amandawe last Friday.

The team was equipped with scrapers, paint and a few tools (all donated by various local businesses) to help with the upkeep of the crèche.

Ward 15 (Scottburgh) councillor Dana Daniels thanks residents who donated blankets to those less fortunate, and to Avanti Low from Jawitz Properties Scott Street for assisting as the drop-off point.

Due to the wet weather, the team was unable to complete the job on the day, but is determined to finish up soon and help brighten the lives of the youngsters.
