How to vote in Best of South Coast
Voting closes on Monday, August 4 for print and online entries – 17:00 and midnight respectively.
Entries have been pouring in since voting for the 894 finalists of the Best of South Coast 2025 opened last week.
The finalists were published in a special nominations supplement on July 18.
The Herald has been inundated with emails, phone calls and WhatsApp messages enquiring about the competition.
Voting closes on Monday, August 4 for print and online entries – 17:00 and midnight respectively.
Excitement is building as the nominated businesses eagerly await the results of the final stage of the competition.
Winners will be announced in a special supplement in September, once the official results are audited by Chantel Elliott & Co.
NOT SURE HOW TO VOTE?
PRINT
* For the print entry form you can still purchase a copy of the Herald of July 18 at our offices situated at 6 Station Road, Port Shepstone.
* You will find the 8-page entry form inside the nominations supplement.
* Tick only one (1) box in each category of the businesses you are voting for.
* Fill in your name, address and telephone number where indicated on the entry form.
* Drop it off at any Herald outlet listed on the entry form.
ONLINE
* For online entries you can scan the QR code on the front page of this week’s South Coast Herald (July 25 edition) which will take you directly to the online entry form.
* Don’t forget to read the FAQs before you start to complete your entry form.
* Only one IP address will be accepted per person voting online.
* You can go to our link: https://www.bestofsouthafrica.co.za/southcoast/bosc-voting-education/ where, if you are having difficulty voting, disconnect from your Wifi connection and switch to MOBILE DATA.
* If anyone has already voted using the same Wifi internet connection your vote will not be registered as only one IP address is allowed per person voting.
* Only one entry per person is allowed in either format.
* Fill in at least 80% of the online entry form to enable your entry form to register.
* Read the rules before you vote to ensure your vote is valid and not disqualified.
LOOKING AHEAD
* Readers are reminded to keep an eye on the 2026 competition, which will be launched in April or May next year.
* To be part of the competition, a local business needs to be nominated by a reader and/or customer.
