New committee for Raam Narayan temple

It recently celebrated its 29th anniversary with great devotion and community spirit.

The Shree Raam Narayan Mandir in Dairy Road, Marburg elected its new executive members recently.

Leading the organisation are chairperson Rocky Ramsingh and vice-chairperson Rithlall Bechoo.

The mandir recently celebrated its 29th anniversary with devotion and community spirit. A sacred Ganga Pooja, honouring the life-giving properties of water and Panchoo Pooja, a community-driven prayer, was held over two days, uniting hundreds of devotees and well-wishers in prayer, reflection and celebration.

Guest speaker, Terry Audan, shared valuable insights into the mandir’s early days, drawing from his personal experiences as an active member. The two-day event allowed for a deeper connection with the divine and with each other, fostering a sense of community and spiritual growth.

The committee extends its heartfelt gratitude to the management, members, sponsors, talented musicians Vernon Govender from Prema Jyothi and Sheppie Nagara.

Shivay Maharaj blows the conch, which signifies purification to bring in positive energy and divine blessings.
