Part of their duties include attending to animals in need, and having a reliable vehicle is a must.
The team assists local residents with snake rescues in the area, food collection for crocs and rehabilitated bird releases alongside partner wildlife NPOs.
The new vehicle will also be a helpful addition to outreach programmes, where the team takes interactive displays to educate children at surrounding rural schools and community events on conservation.
