WATCH: Baby whale washes ashore on St Mike’s Beach

The scene was cleared by the KZN Marine Stranding Network.

A baby whale washed ashore on St Mike’s Beach on Monday this week.

Inspector Mike Davis, manager of the Lower South Coast SPCA, said the organisation became aware of the incident through community groups.

He said according to their knowledge, the whale was dead and the scene was cleared by the KZN Marine Stranding Network.

Attempts to get more information from the KZN Marine Stranding Network was unsuccessful.
